How We Operate
At The ReSole Project, we have a three-step process to help distribute clean, quality shoes to those in need. We collect, refurbish, and distribute these shoes to a variety of shelters and distribution centers.
We believe in giving shoes a second life. Many people wastefully throw out their perfectly usable footwear. However, we aim to repurpose these shoes and give them to those who can’t get shoes on their own.
Step 1: Collection
We have collection bins set up around the city that people can drop their used shoes into. Then, one of our team members goes around every few days, collecting the shoes.
Step 2: Refurbishing
Our team spends hours cleaning each pair meticulously, making them as good as new. Once all shoes are thoroughly cleaned, we hand them off to another team member once again.
Step 3: Distribution
This member takes all the newly refurbished shoes to local shelters and families in need. Our distribution centers are listed here
